  1. wow julie! i've been away from your blog for a little while - simply due to the beat of the season, an early spring and the days melting away so quickly.. on my way back from driving dreamguy to the airport for an early flight, i thought i would check in again and 'catch up' a little with my sweet julie i miss so much. i'm sure glad i did! now i'm on the edge of my seat, anticipating future blogs already! what great Q's to ponder.. regardless of a formal answer or not. just to take pause and consider them. you've got me thinking now, and as well as sharing with others, what a personal way for our own children to see and know us on a different level perhaps.. maybe a little something i may slowly work on myself..? i suppose most importantly an exercise in getting to know and understand our very own selves. we were invited to dinner with friends the other evening and there was a beautiful double-frame on the mantle with black & white photos.. the picture on the left was of a handsome young man standing tall and the one on the right was a beautiful young woman on a horse. my friend explained that these were pictures of her parents. i asked if her mother always grew up with horses.. did she compete? did my friend ride as well? she had absolutely no idea, and explained that in the picture her mother was likely about 19 and married shortly afterward and had children and never spoke of such things and she truly didn't know. it brought me to a recent conversation i had with my girls, and i found it all to be a curious thing. so these questions intrigue me on many levels and as i said before, i look forward to your answers and reflecting on my own - i'm not sure i know all of the answers. i have some thinking to do. thank you for sharing this julie.. timing is perfect, as always xo
